Farmer's Markets

Joe Enviro says:

It's that time of year again.....Time for the Farmer's Markets!!!

The spring season brings a wide variety of goodies to taste, smell, love and take home!

Fresh picked vegetables, and succulent fruits, all home-grown, straight from the farm to your table. They are often organic offerings and thus environmentally friendly. There will be local bakeries with selections of crusty breads, muffins, croissants, and other delectable yeasty treats. Milk, lots of cheeses, jellies, jams, eggs, dips, soups, nuts, juices and wines will be available to satisfy your rumbly tummies. Lovely flowers, herbs, interesting plants and unique home decor will help satisfy your decorator's eye. Many of these markets feature local artists in a wide variety of genres from music to hand-crafted works of art. If you know of any we missed - please drop us a note and we'll add it to our list!

So bring your baskets, bags and carts - fill them all with the treasures that await you. Buy local! Shop small and buy direct!

Help our local economy thrive and live better for it!
