EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS
Here is a quick guide to some of the Earth day celebrations that are going on throughout April.

Where: Throughout the Tulsa Zoo
Every day is Earth Day at the Tulsa Zoo and we are going to spend an entire day celebrating ways we work to conserve species and ecosystems through conservation efforts. Join us for a sustainable celebration during Party for the Planet, which will take place on Saturday, April 23rd. Come to the zoo to learn about our animal and plant conservation efforts by participating in fun activities. This special day will include a self-guided nature tour, conservation programs and other activities relating to our conservation work at the zoo and around the world. Since 1997, the Tulsa Zoo has supported more than 360 conservation projects dedicated to saving wild animals and wild places.

FREE Landfill Days!

FREE LANDFILL DAYS 4/9-10 2016:
7am-3pm Quarry Landfill, 13740 E. 46 St. North (on 46 St. about 1 1/2 miles east of U.S. 169) Free Landfill Days - The City of Tulsa Online (NOTE: There are two landfills on East 46th Street North. Look for the Quarry - Waste Management Inc. signs.)
Open only to residents of Tulsa, participants must show a city utility bill or a driver's license with an address within the city limits of Tulsa in order to be admitted to the landfill. Hazardous waste will not be accepted. Hazardous wastes include: paint, motor oil, antifreeze, pesticides and batteries. There will be a $2 fee for each discarded tire.

Earth Day with
Tulsa Drillers!
4/28 Green Night
In honor of Earth Day, the Tulsa Drillers and the Metropolitan Environmental Trust/New Solutions will host Go Green Night with the
Drillers on April 28th.
Come out to the game to help the Tulsa Drillers spread awareness and help the community become as green as possible!
The Drillers will play the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at 7:05 p.m. at ONEOK Field, 201 N. Elgin Ave.
